Vinyl Records - Growing up, records were daily part of our lives. We collected all type of records, different sizes and colors. Then C.D.'s came along! We rebelled at first thinking C.D.'s were a fad, now we own many CD's and only a few records. We use records that are scratched or warped, and making art out of them seems like the best second life a record could have!
We give "replay" to 45 rpm records by creating jewelry that is both fun and sophisticated through design. We use a large machinist tool to punch pieces from colorful and black records to use as the centerpiece. We then set the vinyl into sterling silver using a rivet and brass washer. The rivet is a strong part of the design element.
Shades of colors may change as many of these records are difficult to find! (Did you know the most difficult colors to find are Pink and Orange!?) If you have any requests, color requests that is, please don't hesitate to email us. We just might have it!!
